The CIF/CGA/NCGA State Championship

The 2011 CIF/CGA/NCGA Girls State Championship was held at Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach.

Southern California schools came out on top this year. The Torrey Pines Falcons of La Jolla won the State Team Championship for the second year in a row with a strong 381 total, just two strokes in front of the runner-up Torrance Tartars.

SoCal students also made up 11 of the top 20 individual finishers, including Champion Sarah Cho of the Torrey Pines Falcons, Runner Up Cha Cha Willhoitte of the Palm Desert Aztecs, Third Place tie Anne Cheng of the Torrance Tartars, and seven spots in an 11-way tie for 8th Place.
