About WSCGA Foundation, Inc.
The WSCGA Foundation, formed in 2002 and supported by the Women’s Southern California Golf Association (WSCGA), is a 501c(3) non-profit organization providing outreach to women and youth in Southern California through academic scholarships, grants to recreational and high school golf programs, golf equipment donation and community program initiatives. The WSCGA is the largest women's golf association in the U.S. with 193 member clubs and approximately 27,000 members. Since its inception, the WSCGA Foundation has positively impacted the female golf community in Southern California through the distribution of scholarships and grants, annually sponsoring the CIF-SS Girls’ Regional Golf Championship, semi-annually sponsoring the Girls' State Golf Championship, annually awarding grants to the six CIF-SS girls’ high school golf teams with the top grade point averages, as well as continually collecting new and gently used golf equipment and goods to distribute to individuals and programs in need throughout Southern California.
Today, the Foundation continues to grow and support the female golf community. With your generosity and support, the Foundation creates financial, educational, and participation opportunities - but WE NEED YOUR HELP. The WSCGA Foundation is at a critical juncture in respect to its ability to grow and promote its mission. The game of golf not only benefits those who participate physically, but teaches values such as honesty and integrity. It gives women and young people the opportunity to build their confidence and self-esteem and to offer mentorship to others. It provides a forum to meet others in your community in a welcoming environment where all are connected through their common appreciation for the game of golf.
Let’s work together to increase the number of opportunities we can offer to
the women and youth of Southern California.
